PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

ECOSS-36 will have three types of sessions: plenary, parallel, and Mini-Symposia sessions. Additionally, two poster sessions and a parallel school "Thin film materials - theory and applications" (PCAM) will also be held on site.

The plenary talks will be held in the auditorium at the Vienna House auditorium (9:00 – 10:00 each day, except Friday 01 September with three plenary talks).

The plenary sessions will follow a format of 45 min talk + 15 min of questions.

The rest of the conference will be held as parallel sessions in order to promote topic-focused presentations and discussion.

Each session will have one invited speaker talk (35 + 5 min questions) followed by contributed talks (15 + 5 min questions).

ECOSS-36 will also feature Mini-Symposia (MS) sessions, curated and organized by a specialist who will also chair the session.

Depending on the MS session, number of presentations and duration may vary.

The two poster sessions (Monday, August 28th and Wednesday, August 30th) will be accompanied by refreshments.

The maximum size of posters is A0 (velcro stickers/pins will be provided).
